The Clipper 70s are built for durability. We affectionately call them tanks, given the abuse they take (and have taken many times before) in the world’s biggest oceans. They really aren’t built for speed. Team Warrant have won their first race in the Clipper Round the World Race 2025-26 and have taken the prime spot in the marina at the Subic Bay Yacht Club, Philippines! ⛵️🏆🌏🇵🇭 Team Warrant crew members have been busy with sail repairs all week (not to mention victualling, refresher training, maintenance and rigging work …). Stopovers on the Clipper Race aren’t all fun and games! A quiet sunny day in the Southern Ocean is a bit of a luxury, but don’t get caught napping or the helm will find a way to wake you up … 🌊 Wrapping a spinnaker at night in the Southern Ocean (not South Atlantic) when the winds are still at 35+ knots is a problem … Another day, another wine tasting! 😁
